Importing your roster

Import directly from CrewLink on the dashboard — sign in on the Luxair page yourself and the app fetches your duty plan. Or save your individual duty plan to Files and tap Import → From a PDF file. The PDF is read on the phone itself. Re-importing a newer roster replaces the days it covers and leaves everything else untouched, so revised rosters are safe to import as often as you like.

Turning on pilot features

The app opens in its free mode, which shows the schedules people share with you. To get the dashboard, calendar, briefings, logbook and statistics, open Settings and switch on Pilot features. The setting belongs to your account, so it follows you to a new phone.

Check-in reminders

In Settings, set how long before check-in you want warning, then switch notifications on and allow them when iOS asks. Where your roster gives a report time, that is used; otherwise the app works back from the first departure by the offset you choose.

Turning it on

In Settings, open Drive time to duty and enable it — iOS will ask for location permission. The app then estimates the drive from where you are to your next departure airport and tells you when to leave. Your position is used only for this, only on the device, and is never sent to us.

Setting the threshold and margin

Two values you control: the threshold above which the reminder switches to a “leave now” style, and the safety margin added before departure. Below the threshold, you get a simple reminder one hour before check-in.

The dashboard shows a drive time but no notification fired

The dashboard ETA is computed each time you open the app. The scheduled reminder is set ahead of time and refreshed in the background when iOS allows — iOS does not guarantee background runs at an exact minute, so treat the notification as a helpful prompt, not a guaranteed alarm. Keep location permission granted for it to work.

Inviting someone

Open the Friends tab, tap Invite, enter their email address and pick how much they see: free days only, duty times, or the full schedule. They install the app and create an account with that same email address — that is what links the invitation to their account.

They signed up but see nothing

Three things to check, in order:

1. They registered with exactly the address you invited. A different address, even a forwarding alias, will not match.
2. You have imported a roster since installing the current version — your schedule is sent to the server when you import.
3. The month they are looking at is one your roster actually covers. Swipe left or right to move between months.

Changing or stopping sharing

In the Friends tab, tap N1, N2 or N3 on someone's card to change their level at once, or the bin icon to stop sharing. Changes take effect immediately. Your logbook is never shared with anyone, at any level.

No D-ATIS for an airport

Digital ATIS is only available where the airport broadcasts one and a passing aircraft has requested it recently. Many airports never publish one. The timestamp beside each D-ATIS tells you how old it is — always check it before relying on the content.

The route is empty

Filed route, cruise level and estimated time en route come from FlightAware and only appear once an AeroAPI key has been set. Without it, the rest of the briefing works normally.

METAR colour dot

Green means the observation is under 20 minutes old, amber 20 to 40 minutes, red older than that. Refresh the briefing to fetch current data.

Flights are not appearing

Sectors move into the confirmation queue once they have landed. To bring today's sectors in sooner, use Send to logbook on the dashboard or on the day in the calendar. Confirm an entry to write it to your logbook.

Aircraft and captains are missing from the pickers

They come from your reference lists. Tap Sync in the Logbook tab once, and they will be there.

Exporting your logbook

From the Logbook tab, open Export, pick a date range (or a preset), and the app generates an EASA FCL.050 PDF you can save or share.

Working offline

Everything you write offline is stored on the phone and uploaded on the next sync. Your logbook, cached briefings and schedule stay readable without a connection.

Forgotten password

Tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and follow the link sent to your email.

Deleting your account

Use the in-app option in Settings, or write to app-support@jri-aero.net from the address on the account. We erase the account, your schedule, your logbook and every sharing link pointing to it within 30 days. Deleting the app removes the data held on the phone.
